We use your data to provide and improve the Service as further described in this Privacy Policy (“Policy”). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. Where you provide us with your personal information in any of the ways described in this Policy, you agree that, to the extent applicable, we may collect, store, and use it (a) in order to perform our contractual obligations to you, (b) based on our legitimate interest for processing (e.g., for our administrative purposes, to improve our Service and the user experience for the same, website performance, or for the detection and/or prevention of crime), (c) based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time, or (d) as otherwise provided in this Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is to not use the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
This Policy may change from time to time (see Changes to This Privacy Policy). However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service. Global Leadership Network uses the collected data, alone or in connection with other information lawfully collected from third parties, for various purposes:
- To provide and maintain our Service or other information, products, or services that you request from us

Text Messages
If you enroll in our text message program by providing your mobile number and opting in, we and our text message service provider will use your mobile number, consent records, and message preferences to deliver the messages you have requested and to honor opt-out requests. Message frequency varies and may include daily messages. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. We retain records of text message consent and opt-outs for as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance with applicable law, and in any event for at least four (4) years. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any subscription.
We do not share or sell mobile opt-in information or text message consent to any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information and text message consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. We share this information only with the service provider that delivers text messages on our behalf, and only as needed to send the messages you have requested and to honor your opt-out requests.
Leadership Growth Assessment Data
If you complete a leadership growth assessment through the Service, we collect your assessment responses and the resulting report. Assessment responses may include optional demographic information, such as your role, age group, gender, and country, and optional faith-related responses.
Assessment results are visible to you. Assessment results may also be visible to the Account Holder and designated administrators of the subscription under which your seat is activated. If an organization provided your access to the assessment, any use of assessment results by that organization is governed by that organization’s own policies, not by Global Leadership Network. We do not use assessment results to make employment decisions.
Assessment responses are used to create your report, to improve the assessment, and to conduct leadership development research, meaning our internal analysis of assessment responses, including in aggregate, to understand leadership growth and to improve our assessments, programs, and resources. We use good faith efforts to de-identify responses when aggregating assessment data, but may use identifiable responses where we determine that doing so would better serve you, serve your organization, or improve the assessment. We will not publish identifiable assessment responses, and will not share identifiable assessment responses with third parties for those parties’ own research, without your additional permission.
The faith-related questions are optional, and answers may reveal religious beliefs, which some laws treat as sensitive or special-category data. You choose whether to answer or skip these questions when you register for the assessment, and we retain a record of your registration affirmation and your faith-question choice. If you choose to answer, your faith-related responses are used to generate your report and are otherwise used only in de-identified form when aggregated. We do not use faith-related responses for advertising or for targeting communications, and we will not share identifiable faith-related responses with your organization or with any third party without your permission. You may withdraw your faith-related responses at any time by contacting us. We do not sell assessment responses or results.
Regardless of your marketing preferences, we may send you messages necessary to deliver the assessment and your report, including report delivery, access support, and service notices.
Team Accounts and Administrator Visibility
If you use the Service through a seat activated under an organization’s subscription, the Account Holder and designated administrators of that subscription may be able to view certain information about your use of the Service, including your name, email address, seat status, and assessment results as described above. If you have questions about your organization’s policies regarding this information, please contact your Account Holder or organization.
Live Events and Recordings
Live events offered through the Service, such as webinars and Master Class sessions, may be recorded. Your name, username, questions, and chat comments may be captured in these recordings, and recordings may be made available to other users of the Service. If you do not wish to appear in a recording, you may participate without submitting questions or chat comments, or contact us with any concerns.
In-person events we produce, such as The Global Leadership Summit, may be photographed, filmed, and recorded, and your appearance, voice, and name may be captured in event media used in connection with our ministry, as described in the terms and conditions applicable to the event.
Third-Party Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Technology
Some content or applications, including advertisements, on the Service are served by third-parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers, and application providers. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use our Service. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different Services and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content.
We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. However, our use of advertising cookies and similar technologies may be considered “targeted advertising” or a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under some state laws. You may opt out as described in the US State Privacy Rights section below, including through an opt-out preference signal such as GPC.

Global Leadership Network retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies. The criteria we use to determine retention periods include the nature of the information, the purposes for which it is used, whether an account remains active, and applicable legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
Assessment responses and results are retained as long as needed to operate the assessment and support the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law, after which they are deleted or de-identified. Records of text message consent and opt-outs are retained as described in the Text Messages section above.
Global Leadership Network will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer periods.
Regardless of our retention schedule, you may request deletion of your personal information as described in the rights sections below, and we will honor such requests as required by applicable law.

Your information, including personal information, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including personal information, to United States and process it there.
Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
Global Leadership Network will take reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Where required by applicable law, transfers of personal information from the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to the United States are made pursuant to appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
